Happy February from the Mission Society!
Yes, it’s so cold and we’re all over the snow, but like me, remind yourself that God created all things. The snow as well as the sun. Spring will come again. We’ve planned a meeting for February the 12th at 7:00 pm. That will be right after the Administrative Board meeting. I also want to give you the dates of our special Mission Sundays. They are March 29th, May 31st, August 30th and November 29th. Lastly, I just want to say how much I love you all, and how grateful I am for everything you all do to help our missions. Church of the Cross supports the Urban Mission. Urban Mission provides food , shelter, and other essential services to the low income population of the Upper Ohio Valley. Founded in 1959 as the “Mill Men’s Hostel”, the Urban Mission has grown to become one of the largest charities in our region.
