Pastor

Christians are indwelt by the Holy Spirit; thus, the one true living God is always with us in all circumstances. Wherever we are we are living, breathing billboards. What others take note of on our figurative billboard is our Christian witness to our family, friends, and the world around us. The accuracy and quality of this penultimate witness is dependent on our fulfilling our commitment to the Savior.

James, the half brother of Jesus addresses this responsibility upon believers in his book of the New Testament (James 1:19-27; 2:14-26). Under divine inspiration he presents the truth that one’s claim to being a Christian can only be proven by an observable outward transformation from a life of disobedience and conflict with God to one of loving obedience to God’s will through the power of the Gospel works of Christ.  A Christian’s heartfelt following of God’s ways, post-salvation is a daily expression and proof of the miraculous transformation which occurs in every member of the Body of Christ (the Church).

WE who were dead in our sins are redeemed into a life, in its totality that exemplifies the model of Jesus. All that we say and do is to be of holy purpose. We are the expression of the perfect presence of God to a lost and darkening world. We are the light of the world.  Read John 1:1-11…

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18ff) is given to us by the resurrected Christ and is the responsibility of each true believer.  Our transformation from eternal death to eternal life begets our witness which is the pathway for the lost persons salvation. Our billboard of witness shines for them on the road of their darkness.
